Did you hear about some guy copyright striking the Peshay Studio Set because he claims to have created Links by The Chameleon?

I was lucky enough to get Jungle Fatigue recommended a few weeks ago and now I've been listening to your EPs nonstop through my exam period (which is making it so much more bearable). Much love from London!

How do you come up with melodies? Because when I have a song in my head, and I try to record what I hear, only for the melody to scurry away, and when I leave my studio and equipment, it returns.
Replied on: May 7, 2025 at 3:33:09 AM
Through trial and error mostly but the process is similar to what you have said.
I usually sing and record melodies with my phone when that moment of sudden inspiration hits, so that I can come back whenever I want to.

I don't know how I discovered your music, but man, what creativity. Any advice for someone who wants to make music? (Note: I don't use samples, I try to do everything DIY) Hope you have a good day.

Hey R, thanks for visiting and the kind words!
Well that's a pretty broad question but you can definitely make jungle/DnB without samples! If you're a drummer you could play your own breaks, mic it up and chop it in the sampler. You could also synthesize your own drum kit too, if harsh and metallic sound is what you are after. Or you could just buy royalty free break packs if that's a bit of a hassle.
For other sounds such as pad, bass and lead etc. you could use any synthesizer honestly. If you're starting out I would recommend Nils' K1 vst(https://www.nilsschneider.de/wp/nils-k1v/) which is free and will give you that authentic 90's digital sound.
As for FX, I guess you could sample sounds with a field recorder and process it further with effects, if you really insist in keeping things DIY. You can also use synthesizer for FX with clever use of filter, LFO and envelopes.
If you have any other question please let me know!

Found your music through youtube recommendations and it was an instant hit
Wondering why everything on Bandcamp is marked as Free Download instead of Name Your Price, though? Been wanting to add these albums to my library but I can't because Bandcamp requires you to pay for the album/track to do that.

Hey Kyronectis, thanks for listening and I’m glad you enjoyed the tunes!
The reason is because under Korean law a soldier(which I am currently) cannot generate outside income. I don’t think that really matters with the amount of money involved but better be safe than sorry!
